Serbia coach Terzic says he can count on his reserve players

Hamamatsu, Japan, October 4, 2018 - Ana Bjelica dominated as Serbia closed out Pool D play with a perfect 5-0 record with a 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 27-25) victory over Puerto Rico at the FIVB Women's World Championship on Thursday afternoon and the Serb coach was pleased by the performance of his reserve players in the match.

Serbia coach Zoran Terzic: I tried to give a chance to the players today. I can say I'm satisfied with the 3-0 victory. Those who played today showed they deserved the chance to be here. I know that I can count on them for the rest of the tournament.

Puerto Rico coach Jose Mieles: This was our best performance in five days here. Unfortunately we could not win. We have to see the result of the Dominican Republic-Kenya match next to find out if we advance to the second round.

Serbia captain Majo Ognjenovic: These kinds of games we can try other players on our team. After Bojana's injury we were very upset. I could not even watch the second and third sets. Puerto Rico did a good job. We are satisfied. Now we will move to Nagoya and keep fighting to play our best volleyball in the second round.

Puerto Rico captain Natalia Valentin: We could show we are at this level today. It is mental. We pushed hard but it wasn't enough.
