The draw for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship third round was held in Nagoya, Nippon Gaishi Hall, on Thursday 11 October 2018.

The 1st, 2nd, 3rd ranked teams of Pools E and F were drawn into Pools G and H by the standings
- 1st draw - teams of 1st place
- 2nd draw - teams of 3rd place
- 3rd draw – teams of 2nd place
The team drawn first were placed in Pool G and the other team were placed in Pool H.
In case 1st and 3rd teams from the same previous pool were in one pool, the team of 2nd place from the other previous pool was automatically
allocated in that pool (for example, E1, E3, F2).
