China's victory - by 25-22, 21-25, 25-23, 25-15 - improved their win-loss record to 8-1 over the first two rounds and dropped Russia to 6-3, meaning the United States (7-2) joined Italy and China in the top three from Pool F to advance to the next round in Nagoya.
