United States improve to 3-0 with tough victory against Korea

Kobe, Japan, October 2, 2018 - The United States had to fight hard for a 3-1 victory over a feisty Korea in Pool C action at Kobe Green Arena on Tuesday evening. The reigning world champions and world No. 2 recovered from one set down to win 19-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-18 and extend their win-loss record to a perfect 3-0. World No. 10 Korea dropped to 0-3 but can take heart from becoming the first team here to take a set off the Americans.

USA in high spirits, says captain

Kobe, Japan, October 2, 2018 - USA Captain Jordan Larson: This tournament is long and very difficult and we knew this coming in. I think we have our spirits high and, after three good matches, we have a long way to go. There is a lot of areas where we can be better at. I am really proud of our team so far and I just hope we can continue to get better.
