Terzic says Serbia can play better after rout of Brazil

Hamamatsu, Japan, October 1, 2018 - Tijana Boskovic put on a show as Serbia rolled past Brazil 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-19) in Pool D action at the FIVB Women's World Championship on Monday night but the coach believes Serbia can play better.

Serbia coach Zoran Terzic: This was our best game of this championship. We were good on attack. We made mistakes on service, but we tried our best to move the Brazil team around with our serves. We must be happy and satisfied with this victory. I think we can still play better.

Brazil coach Jose Guimaraes: Serbia played well and was strong on attack from the start. They defended well on our counterattacks and in reception with good positioning.

Serbia captain Maja Ognjenovic: We were motivated for tonight's match. Our attackers did a good job and played with high efficiency. They could not find the solution to our attack. We are satisfied with the win.

Brazil captain Natalia Pereira: Our defense did not work well tonight. We lost our concentration. We must change our mind in the next matches.

Brazil player Gabriela Guimaraes: It was a tough match. We are usually good on defense, but we were beaten by Boskovic tonight. Our reception was also poor.
