Brazil coach Guimaraes says he was worried about Kazakhstan match

Hamamatsu, Japan, October 4, 2018 -  Tandara Caixeta recorded a match-high 14 points as Brazil beat Kazakhstan 3-0 (25-11, 25-20, 25-13) to close out play in Pool D at the FIVB Women's World Championship on Thursday night and the Brazil coach admitted he was worried about the match beforehand.

Brazil coach Jose Guimaraes: We are happy to end with a win in this fashion. We were able to utilize all of our players in this round. I was worried about this game because we have different styles. You never know. We now will prepare for our next match. We may play Germany or Japan.

Kazakhstan coach Shapran Vyacheslav: We are glad to have a nice game against a top team in the world like Brazil. I want to thank the Japanese fans for their warm support. I want to come back again with a team that is more competitive.

Brazil captain Natalia Pereira: I think we did a good job tonight. What is important is we got the three points and won. Kazakhstan played well. Now we must prepare for the next round in Nagoya and do a good job there.

Kazakhstan captain Radmila Beresneva: This is my last international match so I just want to thank everybody for the cheering. Thank you.
