Nairobi, Kenya, July 31, 2017- Kenya women's volleyball team won the African Zone 5 qualifiers for the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's World Championship after their victory over giants Egypt 3-0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-17) in the third and final day of the Four Nations qualifying tournament held in Nairobi, Kenya this weekend.
Kenya led the tournament with a win loss ratio of 3-0 followed by Egypt on 2-1, as both teams continued their way to the qualification finals to be held jointly with the African Nations Championship in Cameroon in October 2017.
In the match for third place, Uganda cruised past Rwanda 3-2 (23-25, 19-25, 25-16. 25-23, 15-9).
